Darth Vader

I got inspired when the Obi-Wan Kenobi series dropped. I knew I had to make an artwork of Vader sitting on a throne. I simplified my art style for this piece, I created this in a sense of ''what would a Darth Vader comic book cover look like if I was assigned to make one?"

I wanted to highlight Vader's helmet and his chest buttons. Though I kept my limitations on the color palette. I didn't use any red or orange tint as it desaturates the blue/white shine on Vader's armor. The pose was an easy task; I want him to feel relaxed, at the same time, exerted sinister-like presence. The whole throne was a bit challenge for me, as there were only a few references that can be seen on the internet.

This artwork was the 2nd time I made for my "sitting on the throne" series (needs a good name though), first was Boba Fett, inspired from his series.
